Mission Statement
To conceive, prototype and clinically trial magnetic, electric, electromagnetic and magnetodielectric technologies to reduce human and animal suffering, pain and dysfunction
Over the past 100 years, medical science and the practice of medicine has been driven by the development of new pharmaceuticals. As the knowledge base of the molecular mechanisms has advanced, new pharmaceuticals have profoundly impacted the clinical practice of medicine. However, in the last 30 years the world has been and continues to be profoundly transformed by virtue of the intensive integration of digital technology. The advancement of solid state electronics, electrical engineering and information technology has allowed the emergence of new treatment modalities that utilize magnetic, electric and electromagnetic fields. These new treatment modalities have allowed the emergence of new paradigms of healing. To name a few:
- Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for depression and other indications
- Cranial electrotherapy stimulation for anxiety, insomnia, depression and pain
- Chronic Therapeutic Brain Stimulation
- Stimulation of the vagus and trigeminal nerves for treatment of epilepsy and neuroendocrine function
- Biophysical stimulation of bone
- Deep TMS Therapy for diverse neuropsychiatric disorders
- Bioelectromagnetic cancer treatment
- Radiofrequency electromagnetic amplitude modulated at tumor specific frequencies
The founding of Frequency Specific Resonance Foundation (FSRF) arose from the need to advance new ways to accelerate the process of creating, prototyping and clinically testing new medical technology devices that are based upon the clinical application of magnetic, electric, electromagnetic and magnetodielectric fields. Stripped of the multiple burdens frequently encountered with new product development by large corporate structure, FSRF has created a structure that rapidly identifies clinical needs, accelerates prototype development and tests the efficacy of prototype technology. FSRF has advanced a paradigm of conception to clinical application.
